So, I was thinking.... How incredible would it be to cross a pear with an apple? Does this exist already? My mouth is watering just thinking about the possibilities. Now I'm wondering what it would be called? A ap-pear? A pearpple? Something to ponder.

I've been doing a decent job of cooking vegan meals lately. I still hate cooking, but whatever. My body still isn't too stoked on soy products, but I'm doing my best to avoid them. Speaking of vegan food, I'm really jealous that Run with the Hunted is in Boston right now and could potentially be eating at Grasshopper... Jerks.

My nose still hurts, my head is still pounding, I'm still getting dizzy when I move around too much, and my eye is still black, but I guess it could be worse.

I realize after re-reading my first paragraph, that I may sound like I'm on drugs, but I'm really not. Just vertigo medication. Really.

I wish I had something more meaningful to say...

My mom and I are driving 12 hours to Utah tomorrow to see my uncle. We are leaving at 6:00am. He has cancer and is fading fast. Getting kicked in the stomach by a giant would feel better than this.

I got a phone call on Tuesday night asking if Ready Resist would be interested in doing an east coast and southern states tour on top of our west coast and midwest tour. This is all becoming so real. I'm overwhelmed but excited. I had a meeting with my boss yesterday and she is giving me the full two months off with a guaranteed job when I get back. Actually, she made me promise that I would come back. This makes me feel good. We will be hitting the road the last week of December and will be on the road through most of February. Typing this out makes me realize how crazy things got so quickly. How did this happen?

This time next week, I will be on a plane to Boston. I can't even explain how excited I am to leave Phoenix.

Prescott was fun. I just wish our trip would have involved wiener dogs... I did see an amazing basset hound that was only interested in laying the grass. That was pretty cute.

So, I'm back from tour. Despite our van breaking down in Colorado, I must say it was very successful. We had a really good response and every show was incredible in it's own way. We definitely brought that mosh in Canon City and played to 50 kids crammed into a basement in Denver. El Paso was fantastic simply because we got to play with Make Do and Mend. I also lost my mind, broke my finger and got 'blood' all over everyone that night.

Being on the road for hours upon hours really gave me a chance to think and sort things out. I can honestly say that I wouldn't mind spending a majority of my life on the road, in a van with 5 smelly boys. I made a lot of new friends and had a ton of amazing experiences. I don't like the feeling of being home, knowing I could be out on the road playing shows every night.

I've used all of the energy I have, so now I need to take a nap before I head back to work. Work, ugh.... Reality sucks. I want to go back to my dream world.

Tour is awesome. We played with Crooked Ways and The Golden Age in Denver last night. The show was amazing and the kids were great. We met a lot of new friends and had a lot of good times. I'm looking forward to playing with The Golden Age for the next four nights. They could most definitely be my new favorite band. And they are all really legit dudes.

I wouldn't mind playing shows every night for the rest of my life...
